There are thousands of species of Spiders in Australia, both harmless and extremely deadly. Spiders can be helpful around the home as they feed on other insects, but generally it is recommended to carry out a Spider Treatment where Spiders are present.

Spiders have been know to bite causing skin irritations, sickness and in some cases death. Not only are they dangerous, but are considered scary and disgusting.

Spider Bite Symptoms
Below are some symptoms of a Spider Bite. If you believe you have been bitten by a Spider or are experiencing these symptoms, it is strongly recommended to see your health care practitioner.

  • Pain or sting in the area of the bite
  • Swelling around bite
  • Stiffness around bite area
  • Vomiting and nausea
  • Breathing difficulties
  • Excess salivation
  • Twitching of facial muscles
  • Contraction of limbs
  • Slow reflexes
  • Paralyses of lower limbs
  • Eyes failing to respond to lights

A Few Tips to Avoid Spider Bites and Help with Spider Control

  • Wear enclosed footwear outside, especially at night time
  • Don’t leave toys, clothes, etc. outside on the ground, especially overnight
  • Stay alert for wandering spiders when there has been a long period of wet weather or when landscaping, digging or gardening has taken place
  • Wear gloves when gardening or removing rubbish
  • Keep an all around awareness of where spiders may be hiding or nesting

The Treatment is applied to all external entry points covering the weep holes, around doors and windows and any other cracks or crevices we may find. We also treat the internal floor corners, the roof void and underneath electrical appliances. Combining all these methods together ensure for a very effective Spider Treatment.
